The Evasafe Repeater Panel Type EPL 4010/14 was designed for use with the 14 zone Fire Alarm Panel (Evasafe EPL 2130/14 Multizone Fire Alarm Panel) but can also be used with other fire alarm panels giving +ve fire alarm repeater outputs of between 2 and 24v.D.C.
The Repeater Panel requires a +24v D.C. supply and 0 volt return plus the individual zone inputs. Up to 20 repeater panels may be used with Evasafe EPL 2130/14 Multizone Fire Alarm Panels.
All zone, power and fault connections are fully labelled in the rear of the unit adjacent to their relative terminals.
2.1. In order to test the operation of the Repeater Panel connect the +24 and OV lines ONLY to the terminal block. Connect a link between the +24 supply input and each of the zone and system fault inputs in turn. The corresponding L.E.D. should light.
NOTE, The ‘‘Power on’’ indicator is designed to flash briefly approximately every 5 seconds when +24V is connected to the unit.
It is important that the Installation Card supplied with this equipment is completed and posted as soon as the equipment is installed. This will ensure that both user and installer are kept informed of equipment modifications etc.
