We can supply and install either the EMS type of system, which is fully compliant with British Standards and which requires no cabling except mains cabling to the control panel, or radio systems which add on to L2 or L3 hard wired systems. Both types can be used to minimise disturbance to the fabric of buildings which are listed and/or of historic interest.

Radio signalling of vital data between detectors, controllers and warning devices has been successfully integrated into the Fire Alarm Industry for over a decade. During this time there have been many improvements to Radio Fire Alarm Systems which are now in use in historic buildings, commercial properties, hospitals, hotels, schouls and industrial premises. Radio Systems give that extra degree of freedom in design and are now considered as an equal to conventional systems. The installation of wired systems cause considerable disruption to both the fabric of the building and the working environment. Any subsequent changes or modifications could be expensive |

EMS have been designing Radio solutions for the High Security Industry for over 21 years. More than 50,000 systems have been installed throughout the UK in bank premises, museums, schools, retail stores and other applications where unobtrusive security is of vital importance. Recognised for the highest quality Radio technology available to the Security Industry EMS embarked on the development of the Analogue Addressable Radio Fire Alarm System. Working closely with Ziton Ltd, a new high quality analogue addressable optical and heat detector has been designed specifically for radio applications. EMS have introduced the 5000 System incorporating the following features: |

Detailed specifications are available on request.
These consist of additional fire detectors and/or call points which report their condition by radio to either a 2 or 8 channel radio receiver, which in turn is connected to normally spare zones on the standard Evasafe 2130 type control panel.
This allows devices to be located in parts of the building which would otherwise be inaccessible by normal cabling without causing excessive disruption and/or damage to the fabric of the building.
